Censoring

Have you ever been asked to do a footage censoring? Learn the basics masking techniques along with using adjustment layers.

Some time ago someone asked for a way to censor his footage. I found the thread on CGTalk forums, and I thought, that it’s a good subject to do a tutorials about.

Learn how to censor your footage using few different techniques, that involve animated masks, layers, track mattes, and adjustment layers.

The idea for this tutorial came from Agresvig from CGTalk forums. See the oryginal thread.

Hey great tutorials, thnx for sharing, the censoring tutorial was very usefull to me, i was animating the mask manually like ur first example, now i will use the tracker, a good time saver.

Thank you so much for all the cool tutorials you been posting. You are really good and a very good teacher. I learnt a lot just listening to your tutorials. I am a film student at Vancouver Film School. I want to thank you for all your efforts. I really appreciate it. I really liked the other tutorial that you posted about creating the fight club effect. But sadly I couldnt figure out from where to download the plugins from. Can you please guide me. I am really looking forward to your new tutorials.
