		<description>While playing with this technique in Premiere Pro CS4 I noticed that the Timewarp filter (as used in this tutorial in After Effects, I&#039;m pretty sure they are the same) when set to Whole Frames and Speed at 50.00 is actually seperating the fields and using them one after the other anyway to create a smooth slow motion. I don&#039;t think you need to do all the duplicate clips and Strobe Light steps. Just use the Timewarp filter. Unless of course the Timewarp filter in this tutorial is an older version which doesn&#039;t work the same as the CS4 version.</description>

Let&#039;s say you start with this footage at 50i
1+2, 3+4, 5+6, 7+8, etc...
Each frame is made by two fields
Then you create a 100i footage in this way...
1+2,2+3,3+4,4+5,5+6,... etc
And then you just interpolate..
(1+2), (2+3), (3+4), (4+5), etc...
The result is the same quality as normal 50i--&gt;25p interpolation (merging two fields) but you have double amount of frames for slow motion</description>
