Hello my friends. We are getting closer and closer to finally releasing MILG5 as promissed. I thought that I could share the official tutorial list with you, so here I go:

01. Gyro

Create a cool-looking gyroscopic element completely within After Effects. Inspired by the work of Mark Coleran, this tutorial includes extensive use of Shape Layers, parenting and simple expressions to create a technical look using almost no keyframes.

I’ve been helping out John Dickinson from Motionworks with his new site that is going to be up soon. Doing that I took advantage of the legacy my-hacks.php file in WordPress architecture. It’s great that you can still use this file. It allows doing cool things with your post and WordPress in general without going into writing a real plugin.

We are working hard on Making It Look Great 5 and that’s the reason I wasn’t providing much new content lately. So in exchange I thought I’ll let you in on a little status update with MILG5. We are already halfway through. If everything goes well we should be releasing it in no more than 6 weeks. Unfortunately I became very sick and sometimes I have to give my plans up, go to the doctor and lay in bed for a few days. But I’m not giving up, oh no.

Good news everyone! I finally got to finish cross-platform CustomEffect installer. No more headakes when installing my expression based presets. Make sure to check it out. It requires Adobe AIR runtimes, so make sure you get them before installing my application.
