Since I’m working on Making It Look Great 5 DVD I don’t want to miss any opportunity to make things look their best. I’ve watched previeus editions of this series and most of them where recorded on Mac using some build-in software. The most cute feature was a visual representation of keys that were being pressed during the recording. I wanted that for myself.

I just got involved in a project that requires interactive motiongraphics. It’s very interesting since it goes beyond AE. Funny thing is that many years ago when I just started to be a cinemaniac I actually wanted to do something like this for the living.

Some time ago I’ve mentioned that I plan to create a new CustomEffects Installer for Adobe AIR platform and I’m proud to announce that I almost finished it. The only thing left to do is to find few Mac users to test it. If everything goes well I’ll be releasing the first version in two or three weeks.

Finally! The official Adobe AIR release is here. Now I can take this seriously. I my previous post I mentioned that I started to create CustomEffects Deployer application and that I plan to do a CustomEffects Installer. Now I can. Adobe AIR opens up new perspectives and I hope we can all benefit from them. Keep your fingers crossed. New CustomEffects Installer coming soon.

Three years ago me and my friend started to work on our very own, low cost, high quality motion capture application. Our goal was to create easy to use scalable application, that would take a video sequence, analyze it, and export a BVH motion capture file than can then be used in many 3D applications for character animation. Reason? We simply needed it for one of our projects.

I just got my hands on brand new release of Adobe AIR. I just love it. At the beginning AS3 was a bit scary for me. Many things have changed and I was avoiding doing anything in AS3, because my coding history in Flash goes back to Flash 4, so I have strong old habits. But then along came Adobe AIR and everything changed.
